This romantic place to stay offers a history all of its own. Once a Coach House, it has been lovingly restored using Lime Mortar and maintaining its unique high ceilings and beautiful stone and Red Brick effect.
The interior has been created as a warm, clean, restful space where you can relax after exploring West Cork. Close enough for a walk down to Clonakilty town where the various shops, pubs and restaurants will give you a warm welcome.
The Details
The Property
The Coach House has a large bedroom with a king size bed, 100% cotton bedlinen and enveloped in fully insulated walls for warmth. Room-darkening blinds give you a restful sleep.
The bedroom still retains a view of some of the old stone work of the coach house, where the carriage would have been housed. Books and reading material are available.
We supply a welcome pack with some local goodies and Toiletries are supplied to get you started. Our aim is to try have you relaxed with all you need on arrival.
The open plan kitchen/sitting room has a clean, warm feel to the space where the stablemen would have slept before.
The Coach House has Fibre Broadband and a Smart TV for you to relax and enjoy your favourite shows.
The kitchen is equipped with an Induction Hob, Microwave, Dishwasher and a Nespresso Coffee Machine with Pods for your morning wake up.
There is a washing machine & dryer for your own use. Although a modern look, the emphasis is on calm and comfort for your stay.

You’ll have your own independent living space with an outside patio area to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. There is a free parking space.
Award winning Inchydoney Beach is 5km away, but there are lots of other fantastic coves and beaches dotted around our coastline for you to explore also.

We like to give our guests privacy and can let them do a self-check in. We leave a welcome pack for your arrival and are available if communication needed.

Clonakilty Town has plenty to offer with a Museum, Distillery tour, Clonakilty Black Pudding Experience, The Model Railway and plenty of Clothing Boutiques, Coffee Shops and Restaurants.
We are lucky to have plenty of Blue Flag beaches within the area, suitable for bathing & lots of lovely walks. We are available to advise on any activity you wish to explore during your stay.
